The police has arrested the person who kidnapped a girl 22 years ago in Uttar Pradesh. After committing this crime in 2002, he changed his name to another state and was working as an insurance agent there.
Police said that the accused named Zubair was living in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, since 2002 with a fake identity named Vijay Pundir. He also got fake documents including mark sheets made and was working as an insurance agent.

According to news agency PTI, Saharanpur Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain said that on June 16, 2002, a man lodged a complaint at Gagalherahi police station that Zubair had kidnapped his 17-year-old daughter. Under which the police registered a case and started searching for him, but no trace of him could be found.

Accused caught from Dehradun after 22 years
After 22 years, the police has arrested Zubair alias Vijay Pundir (40) from Jhibheredi village of Dehradun. Police said that Zubair is originally a resident of Haridwar, Uttarakhand. He said that further investigation of the case is going on.
