Lord Shardul Thakur scored an 11 -ball over against Kolkata Knight Riders. It was jointly the longest over of the IPL. Earlier, 11–11 balls have also been put over Mohammad Siraj and Tushar Deshpande. In fact, the 13th over of KKR’s innings was putting Shardul Thakur for Lucknow Super Giants. He first hit five balls wide. After this his over started. Shardul then conceded eight runs in five balls. He then dismissed captain Ajinkya Rahane on the last ball. Rahane was batting brilliantly. He was dismissed for 65 runs in 31 balls again. Rahane hit eight fours and two sixes in his innings.

Lucknow Super Gynts defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by just four runs in the thrilling IPL match on Tuesday in his home ground in his own home ground thanks to Atishi innings of Mitchell Marsh (81) and Nicholas Puran (87 not out).
Lucknow scored a huge score of 238 runs for three wickets in 20 overs and then stopped KKR for 234 for seven in a tremendous struggle. This is Lucknow’s third win in five matches while KKR suffered a third defeat in five matches. Nicholas Puran of Lucknow received the Player of the Match award for his fiery innings.
KKR had a big goal in front of KKR but after Rahane and Narayan made a good start, KKR came into the match and then Venkatesh Iyer also supported Rahane, although the picture started changing gently after Rahane was dismissed and the match came to Lucknow’s court.
