Eventually the CVC Group won the team by bidding a bid of Rs 5625 crore. At that time, the favorite Adani Group had bid for Rs 5100 crore to get a franchise. However, she could not even reach around the CVC group.
On the other hand, Titans have done well since the beginning. She won the title in her first year in 2022 and reached the final in 2023. It is believed that its price is Rs 7800 crore. The Lucknow franchise, which was bought by Sanjeev Goenka at the same time, was sold for Rs 7090 crore, which established a benchmark to evaluate an IPL team.
