A case of brutally beaten by the teacher after going out of school to buy an ice cream for a Class 1 student studying in a composite school in Ballia, UP. After this incident, the District Basic Education Officer has ordered an inquiry.
According to the report of the news agency, the incident took place on Wednesday when 5 -year -old student Karthik Sahni went out of the school premises and started buying ice cream. It is alleged that teacher Rajneesh Rai brutally beat him on this matter, causing bruises on his back.
Basic Education Officer Manish Singh said on Thursday, ‘Through media reports, we came to know that a student of class 1 in Revathi’s Composite School was beaten up by his teacher after going out to buy ice cream. An inquiry has been ordered immediately in this matter and the Block Education Officer has been instructed to immediately investigate the incident and submit the report.
He also said that further action will be taken on the basis of the report. Student Karthik Sahni told that when he went out of school to take ice cream, his teacher caught him and beat him. He also showed bruises on his back, making it clear that he was badly killed.
The local education department has come into action after the incident came to light. There is anger among the parents about this incident and they are demanding strict action against the accused teacher.
