After reaching Delhi, the victim’s phone was snatched and pushed into prostitution. He lost contact with his family. About 10 days ago, he somehow approached his brother. Told him his objection. His brother contacted the National Human Rights Commission with the help of a non-governmental organization (NGO). After this, the police was informed. Based on a secret information, the police conducted a rescue operation. On 5 April, raids were conducted in GB Road Red Light Area.

Legal proceedings have been started on the basis of the victim’s statement. Further investigation is going on in this matter. National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) member Priyank Kanungo said on Saturday that Delhi Police has saved the victim. He wrote on X, “Today, on my instruction, Delhi Police conducted a rescue operation. During this time a poor girl from West Bengal has been rescued from a brothel in GB Road Red Light Area.”

He further wrote, “The Mission Mukti Foundation told that the accused named Mohammad Ghazi of South 24 Parganas implicated the victim girl in the trap of love. He brought him to Delhi. Sold in a brothel. She was forced to prostitution. ”The police team included Inspector Inna Kumari, Inspector Manoj Dahiya, SI Pinky Rani, SI Meenakshi, SI Narendra Kumar, ASI Gopal Krishna, ASI Bijandra, ASI Ramchandar, ASI Rajesh, Sunita etc.

The Women’s Commission also sought a report about condom supply from the AIDS Control Society.
