SRH vs GT: Washington Sundar’s controversy over caught out, Gill’s anger in video

In the match number-19 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets. Sundar played aerial shot on the first ball of this over of Shami. The ball went to Aniket. He caught the catch. But in the video, it felt as if the ball had hit the ground first. However, the third umpire gave Sundar out. Due to this, captain Gill, including the players sitting in the dugout, also appeared angry.

Hyderabad started to bat first. In the very first over, Mohammad Siraj dismissed the Travis Head, considered the strongest link in Hyderabad. The head was dismissed after scoring 8 runs.
