The ED has raided the offices of Gangotri Enterprises, a firm of Samajwadi Party leader and former MLA Vinay Shankar Tiwari in UP. These raids have been conducted on the offices of Gangotri Enterprises in Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Mumbai. CBI investigation is already going on in the 1500 crore bank loan scam. Now ED has also registered a case in the PMLA Act.

Let us tell you that while being an MLA from BSP, Vinay Shankar Tiwari, son of late Bahubali leader Harishankar Tiwari, took a loan from many banks in the name of Gangotri Enterprises. In the cluster of the Bank of India, the loan bank had complained, after which the CBI registered a case and started the investigation. At the same time, now the ED has also started investigation by registering a case under the Money Laundering Act. In this sequence, raids were conducted at many places. The whole matter is to invest the bank’s loan elsewhere.

It is being told that Vinay Shankar Tiwari was not appearing for the statement even after several notices of ED. After which a dozen teams of ED raided all the locations of Tiwari in the early hours of Monday. On about 4 hours, the team investigated and gathered information.

It is known that Vinay is the son of MLA Harishankar Tiwari from 1985 to 2007 and a minister in different governments. At one time, Tiwari used to speak Tutti in Purvanchal. But with time, the Nizam changed, the Tiwari family’s influence also slowed down. At present, the Tiwari family and the UP government are well known. On many occasions, Vinay Tiwari has been attacked by the head of the government.
