The police, taking action at the dargah of Ghazi Mian of Bahia, took action and arrested one of the four accused accused on Monday. Police said that the accused has been identified as Manvendra Singh. The search for other absconding accused is on. The police have registered a case against 20 unidentified people, including four nominated people in this case.
DCP (Ganganagar) Kuldeep Singh Gunwat said that a case has been filed against 15-20 unknowns, nominating Manvendra Singh, Rajkumar Singh, Vinay Tiwari and Abhishek Singh in connection with the incident on Sunday during the Ram Navami celebrations.
Out of these accused, a person named Manendra Singh was allegedly arrested for allegedly taking two other youths to the dargah.
It is being told that Manvendra Singh has also been a former state president of Karni Sena and he is also the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Manvendra has been continuously protesting against the removal of Ghazi Mia’s tomb in Sikandra.
At the same time, an alleged video of the incident is also going viral on social media, in which some people are seen shouting slogans at the gate of Ghazi Mian’s dargah and waving saffron flags. Police said that he reached the spot and took out the people from the dargah.
According to the police, both Hindu and Muslim devotees come to the dargah to offer sheets. Every Sunday and Wednesday, a fair fair is held at the dargah, in which hundreds of Hindus and Muslims come. However, the administration has banned this fair for the last few days.
The DCP said on Sunday that departmental action is being taken against the policemen responsible for maintaining the system on the spot.
