UP Saharanpur Jaitpur Kala Lover Marriage Denial – Girl’s body found hanging from tree in Saharanpur
In Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a girl committed suicide by getting fed up with her lover’s infidelity. His body was hanging from a tree in a mango orchard. On receiving the information, the police recovered the body of the girl and sent it for postmortem. Now the police is investigating this matter.
The case is of Jaitpur Kala village of Saharanpur. Where a 19 -year -old girl wanted to marry her lover. But he refused to marry. Hurt by this, the girl committed suicide. This information was given by the district police on Thursday.
Saharanpur Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain told PTI that the deceased was identified as Preeti, who was a resident of Bihari Garh. His body was found hanging from a tree in the mango orchard in the village on Wednesday evening. The SP said that Preeti went missing from her house on Tuesday. On not getting to know, the family lodged a missing report with the local police.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain said that the local residents had seen the body of the girl hanging from the tree. After this, they informed the police. Initial investigation has revealed that the woman was in a relationship with a person and wanted to marry her.
SP Sagar Jain said that there were indications that she was upset with her lover’s refusal to marry, after which she allegedly committed suicide with her dupatta. However, further investigation is going on to confirm the circumstances of death.
According to the police officer, the garden in which the body was found, was taken on lease by two people, whom the police is currently questioning. The SP said that the family has not yet filed any complaint in this regard. The body of the girl has been sent for postmortem.
