Police have arrested three robber brides in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. After marriage, the groom was looted by feeding them intoxicating kheer. These women have so far made 13 grooms their victims. The arrested women include Pooja alias Sonam, Asha alias Guddi and Sunita. According to the police, these women used to target those youths and families, who could not get married even after a lot of age.

Robbery bride method

Police said that these women used to commit events by forming kinship among themselves. She used to faint the groom by feeding them intoxicating pudding and then looted their jewelry and cash. The police have also recovered the jewelry and cash looted from these women.

Story of two brothers

Kuldeep and Pradeep Kumar, residents of Bhadial of Tadiwan police station area, were also victims of these robbery brides. He was married on 22 November 2023 to the alleged two real sisters, who had revealed their names Pooja and Aarti. CO City Ankit Mishra told that if Pradeep and Kuldeep come, they will be shown a picture of robbery brides. If they identify, then another case will be increased on the accused.

CO City Ankit Mishra said that the brides accused in the whole case are being questioned. So far, it has also come out in the inquiry that their network was spread in many states of Hindi belt. The investigation of the case is going on. Further action will be taken after investigation.
