Every day new Baba from Mahakumbh of Prayagraj is becoming a topic of discussion on social media. Earlier Baba Abhay Singh from IIT made a lot of headlines and now Wrestler Baba is in the news. Rajpal Singh, popularly known as Pehalwan Baba in Kumbh, has started a campaign to keep the youth away from drugs and with the aim of taking this campaign forward, he has reached Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. He says that the youth of the country have to be awakened, drugs have to be eradicated and India has to be made a world leader.
Ability to stand on head on football
Talking about his objective, Pehalwan Baba said that wherever we go, we awaken the youth. He said that I am 50 years old but I can do 10 thousand pushups with one hand. I can also use the discus and can even stand on my hands on a football. He said that when I can work so hard at the age of 50, then why can’t our youth do the same. I have launched this campaign with the aim of motivating them.
Wrestler Baba, who became the topic of discussion in Mahakumbh due to his fitness and enthusiasm, said that today’s youth is very misguided. Due to being in bad company and eating some wrong things, he has become physically and mentally weak and is addicted to drugs. He said that if he eats home-made food, he too will become strong and healthy like me. He told that there were some children in my neighborhood and relatives who had lost their way, so I tried to convince them a lot and even beat them, but it had no effect on them. In such a situation, I thought why not run a campaign to bring them on the right path.
Appeal to the youth to come on the right path
Pahalwan Baba says that we learn more by showing than by telling. For this reason, at the age of 50, I have created such an environment that wherever I go, I show my body and hard work and appeal to the youth to follow the right path. If I can do this at this age, then my young friends can do even more. He said that I get 15-20 calls every day and people tell me about the bad habits of their children. Also, there are some who have given up drug addiction after listening to me. If someone gets benefited by following the path shown by me, then there is nothing more gratifying than this.
Baba’s look has also become a topic of discussion in Mahakumbh. He wears saffron dhoti and the saffron turban on his head has become his identity. Most of the time he is found exercising. People are shocked to see Pehalwan Baba doing many difficult exercises and start wondering how someone at this age can do such exercises so easily. Baba says that if any person works for the welfare of the society then there is no greater saint than him.
