AI Database: AI DATABASH AIKAMH AKALL Learn from Religious Books and DiaLects

The government is working on a plan to strengthen the AIK Database with the help of religious books and Vedas-Puranas, articles and photographs etc. According to sources, this preparation is being done for all languages including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu.
A senior government official told the business standard that the religious content and oral spread stories written in local dialects will also be included in it. The official said, “These books contain thousands of years intelligence and experience. In such a situation, they are not only an important source of accurate information but are also important about all types of AI models. They can be used in LLM i.e. Large Language models that companies will develop under India AI Mission.
The Ministry of Information and Technology has presented a domestic data set called AIkosh on 6 March with other data other than personal data. It can be used in AI models, applications, LLM, small language model, large region model etc.
The IT Ministry has voluntarily asked companies and startups to share its non -personal data to train and improve these AI models. Apart from this, he has also signed a memorandum with the Lok Sabha Secretariat. Under this, the extensive question -answer reserves of Parliament, reports submitted by governments in the last years, files of the agenda of ministries and meetings of committees can be used.
As of April 9 there are around 350 datasets on the AIKC platform and around 150 AI models have been developed and registered, including both LLM and SLM. Datasetes with various ministries can also be used. Another official said, “Most of these datasets are available on open governance data platforms but we are working on the possibility of which other non -individual and confidential data can be collected.”
India’s dataset platform is one of the seven pillars of the Rs 10,372 crore India AI Mission and intends to ensure access to non -individual data for the manufacture of AI Applications, LLM, SLM and AI Tools etc. In the budget of 2025-26, the government has allocated an amount of Rs 200 crore for this scheme. An official said that the datasets presented on the AIKCH platform will be available for the government and the private sector mudification. He also said that the Ministry has also made this clear in Parliament.
