The Indian Army has already got 35 thousand rifles in 2024.
In fact, AK-203, built under an United India-Russia Venture in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, has started replacing the old INSAS rifles present in the service currently. This year, indigenous materials in these AK-203 rifles will be increased by 30 percent, while the latter supply will increase indigenous material further.
