Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav took a dip of faith in Prayagraj Mahakumbh on Sunday. After bathing in Ganga, he reached the camps of saints and religious leaders to meet them. In this series, he also met Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda and took his blessings. Its pictures are going viral on social media in which Akhilesh Yadav is seen sitting at the feet of religious leaders. During this, Akhilesh took Prasad from the saints and also donated labor in their camp. Along with Akhilesh, his son Arjun was also present in this entire program.

Then met Mahamandaleshwar and other saints of Kinnar Akhara. Also visited ISKCON temple. He also went to the camp of saints and donated labor in langar service. At last, after receiving the Prasad along with his son, he left the Mahakumbh towards his destination.

In this, it can be seen how Akhilesh is sitting with reverence on the carpet/mat on the ground in front of Shankaracharya, he has folded both his hands and is talking to Shankaracharya while laughing and smiling. During this time Shankaracharya also looks very happy. He also gave laddus as prasad to Akhilesh.

Regarding this, Mukundanand Brahmachari, in-charge of Shri Shankaracharya Camp, Jyotirmath, Badrikashram told that Akhilesh Yadav visited Maharaj Shri and took blessings from him. Akhilesh also circumambulated the Yagyashala. Mukundanand Brahmachari said that Maharaj Shri stressed on the protection of indigenous cows to Akhilesh Yadav.
