The video was accompanied by a caption that read, “Deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extend every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey.”

Allu Arjun started the video by sharing how he and his team learned about Revathi’s death. He added, “When we went to watch Pushpa’s premiere at RTC Crossroads [in Hyderabad]we never expected to hear such tragic news the next day. It was deeply disheartening to hear that a family was injured, and a lady named Revathi died due to her injuries. Watching movies in theaters is a cherished ritual, but this incident left us all heartbroken.”
Expressing his support, Allu Arjun said, “On behalf of the Pushpa team, we extend our deepest condolences to the family. We understand that no words or actions can ever compensate for the loss you are bearing. We stand with you emotionally and will do everything within our capacity to support you in this difficult time.”
The Pushpa The actor also contributed Rs 25 lakh to secure the family’s future. “As a goodwill gesture, I would like to extend financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the family. Additionally, we will take care of the medical expenses to ensure the injured members receive the best possible care. This is our way of showing that we are there for you, especially for the children in the family,” he added.
Allu Arjun also urged his fans to be cautious in the future. “My only request to all fans is to be cautious while enjoying our movies. Our entire intention is to provide good entertainment for families to enjoy together. Please take care and ensure you return home safely after watching the film,” he concluded.
Special shows for Pushpa 2: The Rule were scheduled on December 4 at 9:30 PM in selected theaters across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Bengaluru. When Allu Arjun arrived at Sandhya Theater with his family on December 4, the crowd went wild. Revathi, who had come to the theater with her two sons, became a victim of the overcrowding. She and her son were found unconscious and were immediately rushed to the hospital.
Revathi was declared dead on arrival, while her son Sri Tej, in critical condition, was transferred to KIMS Hospital in Begumpet.
Pushpa 2: The Rule was released worldwide on December 5.
