Punjab Pradesh Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Wading, former state Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Akali Dal’s Daljit Cheema surrounded Arvind Kejriwal on social media to call Punjab officers of Punjab to Delhi. And the big reason for doing this was that when Arvind Kejriwal was meeting with the Chief Secretary of Punjab and the big officials of the electricity department, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was not present there.
And, even after the defeat in the Delhi elections, Arvind Kejriwal called Bhagwant Mann and his ministers, MLAs to Delhi, then that incident was remembered again. At that time, there was a strong discussion of removing Bhagwant Mann and making someone else the Chief Minister – but after reaching Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal has made it clear that Bhagwant will be the head of the Aam Aadmi Party government.
But, Bhagwant Mana seems to be the Chief Minister to say. Even though the right to the cabinet meeting remains with Bhagwant Mann, Arvind Kejriwal is seen everywhere in the rest of the meeting and field.
The matter of controlling Punjab through remote from Delhi is very old, till now it seems Arvind Kejriwal has taken the entire command in his hand only after being present on the spot.
How many CMs are there in Punjab?
Between 2012 and 2017, when there was a Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh, stories of ‘two and a half chief ministers’ were narrated in the corridors of power. During that time, the Chief Minister used to be Akhilesh Yadav, but the big leaders of Samajwadi Party felt very interfering.
