Sunil Naren’s great performance
Sunil Naren of KKR was the hero of this match. He showed amazing with both the ball and the bat. Naren harassed the CSK batsmen with his brilliant bowling. CSK’s team could score only 103 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Naren took 3 wickets for just 13 runs in 4 overs. His bowling economy rate was 3.20. Naren also showed amazing in batting. He scored 44 runs in 18 balls, including 2 fours and 5 sixes. KKR easily won the match thanks to his innings.
CSK batting trouble
CSK batsman could not stand in front of KKR’s good bowling. Shivam Dubey and Vijay Shankar fought a little, but the rest of the batsmen were shattered under pressure. Dubey scored 31 and Shankar scored 29 runs. CSK captain MS Dhoni, who is known to remain calm in difficult times, was dismissed for just 1 run. Rahul Tripathi and Ravindra Jadeja also could not do anything special. Naren bowled Tripathi for 16 runs.
KKR’s great bowling
KKR bowlers kept CSK batsmen tied from the beginning. He did not let any batsman make a big partnership. Harshit Rana also bowled well. He took 2 wickets for 16 runs in 4 overs. He dismissed Rachin Ravindra and Ravichandran Ashwin. Varun Chakraborty took 2 wickets for 22 runs from his spin bowling. This increased further pressure on CSK. Naren bowled Tripathi and also dismissed Dhoni and broke the hopes of CSK’s return.
KKR again batted brilliantly
Chasing a target of 104 runs, KKR made a fast start. Quinton de Kock scored 23 runs in 16 balls, including 3 sixes. Although he was bowled by Anshul Kamboj, he had a good partnership with Naren. Naren scored 44 runs in 18 balls while batting stormy and made the target easier. Ajinkya Rahane scored 20 runs in 17 balls and Rinku Singh scored 15 runs in 12 balls to lead KKR to win.
