Six months after the Awami League government was ousted from power in Bangladesh, the country’s oldest political party has announced the movement. Awami League said in a statement released on Tuesday, ‘Bangladesh has completely drowned in chaos in just six months of Yunus’s non-elected rule. This country is now on the verge of becoming a failed state, where there is no respect for human rights, equality and public security.
The party has called upon its grassroots workers to protest against the Yunus government’s’ misrule ‘and’ attacks on religious and caste minorities and protection given by the government to the government.

The Awami League wants to highlight major issues like the sky touching prices of essential commodities, the deteriorating situation of law and order and public safety through its movement. Along with this, the party has condemned the killing and attacks of citizens on the basis of political affiliation and the politicization of judiciary and law enforcement.
