There was chaos in Sadar tehsil of Basti district of Uttar Pradesh when a lekhpal was arrested red handed by taking a bribe of Rs 10,000. As soon as this thing spread outside, there was a stir in the accountants. He reached Kotwali in large numbers to save his partner. Along with Lekhpal, officials of Lekhpal Sangh were also involved in this.

In Kotwali, the accountants started accusing the anti -corruption team. The Lekhpal Sangh alleges that the Anti Corruption Team has deliberately taken action by forcibly putting money lying on the ground in his pocket. When a large number of angry Lekhpal reached Kotwali, the police officers also got into thinking.

The whole matter is related to Lekhpal Ved Prakash Dubey of Sadar Tehsil. It is alleged that the Anti Corruption Team arrested him red -handed taking bribe. But the colleagues of the accused Lekhpal say that he is being forcibly implicated in this case.

In fact, a farmer resident of Agai Bhagad village of Bahadurpur block contacted Lekhpal Ved Prakash for some of his land related work. According to the complainant, instead of this, Lekhpal had demanded 50 thousand rupees from him.

According to the complainant, he had given 20 thousand rupees to the accountant but still the work was not done. He was being run for several months. Tired, he complained to the Anti Corruption Team, on which the team secretly raided the tehsil premises and arrested the Lekhpal red-handed taking money.

At the same time, when he spoke to the officials of the anti -corruption team on this matter, he said that Lekhpal has been arrested taking bribe and further legal action is being taken. At present, the matter remains a topic of discussion in the area.
