After the suicide of 34 year old software engineer Atul Subhash, the suicide of bakery owner Puneet Khurana in Model Town, North Delhi has shocked. The family of Puneet, who hanged himself in his house, has alleged that his wife and his in-laws were harassing and taunting Puneet, due to which Puneet was facing mental torture. Puneet’s wife was living separately from him. The family also claimed that Puneet’s wife kept demanding his share in the bakery business, due to which he took a suicide-like step.
According to the Khurana family, Puneet was upset with his wife Manika Pahwa. Both of them got married in 2016. The couple were also co-owners of ‘For God’s’ Cake Bakery. There was also a restaurant named Woodbox Cafe, which was closed some time ago.
Puneet’s sister told news agency ANI on Wednesday that Manika Pahwa’s parents and her sister put pressure on my brother Puneet, put him under stress and instigated him by saying, ‘If you can’t do anything, if you have courage then commit suicide.’ Take’.
