Bihar: Beheaded body of youth found in begusarai visiting grandmothers house lclk

Sensation spread in the area after a decapitated body was found in Begusarai, Bihar. The incident took place in Chakchanarpat of Bakhri police station area, where people in the village were extremely scared after the decapitated body of a young man was found. Police have recovered the head, while the search for the rest of the body is ongoing.

The deceased youth had come to visit his grandmother’s house.

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Chhotu Kumar, resident of Bhadas village of Khagaria district. Chhotu had come to his maternal uncle Harinandan Mahato’s house two days ago. Police received information that a severed head was lying near a pond of Mukesh Yadav in Chakchanarpat.

The police team reached the spot and identified the deceased by taking possession of the head. Blood and broken parts of mobile phones were also found on the railway track between Salona and Imli stations of Samastipur-Khagaria railway section, about 600-700 meters away from the incident site.

The police team under the leadership of Bakhri DSP Kundan Kumar has started investigation at the spot. FSL team and dog squad were also called for investigation. The police have sent the head to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Investigation of the case from both murder and accident angles

After the decapitated body was found, DSP Kundan Kumar said that the police is investigating the case from both the angles of murder and train accident. However, based on the evidence so far, it seems that the young man was murdered and his head was severed and the body was dumped somewhere else. Police are searching for the remaining parts of the deceased’s body.

The deceased Chhotu Kumar was a resident of Bhadas village of Khagaria district and had come to his maternal uncle’s house in Ward No. 6, Chakchanarpat. There is mourning among the family and relatives after this incident. Along with questioning the villagers, CCTV cameras installed in the surrounding area are also being examined.
