On Ambedkar Jayanti (April 14), political parties are vying to make Ambedkar their own, while Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav unveiled the statue of Ambedkar in Etawah. At the same time, UP BJP is going to organize a marathon in the name of Babasaheb. The theme of this marathon to be organized by the BJP organization in Lucknow on 13 April has been held ‘Ek Bharat Samras Bharat’. This marathon will be held from KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow to 1090 intersections, at the center of which will be Dalit and OBC children, youth and marathon runners. For this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched the marathon jersey, CM Yogi will also participate in this program.
On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, the BJP is organizing a marathon to woo the Dalit youth as well as to connect the party’s ideology and organization. So that only the right Dalits and OBC youth can be reached through this.
The state’s organization General Secretary Dharampal Singh has been trying to take the party’s ideas between Dalits and OBCs and to remove misunderstandings from their minds since the Lok Sabha elections. The BJP organization knows that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP lagged behind due to deteriorating negative in Dalits and backward. Especially the question of ending reservation, the question of recruitment of 69000 teachers and the question of changing the constitution. These issues had spoiled the BJP’s negative. After this, the ears of the state organization have stood up and now it is busy to demolish every such narrator.
Neeraj Singh, BJP leader and son of Rajnath Singh, has been entrusted with the responsibility of connecting Dalit and backward youth in this marathon. To bring Dalit students and youth into this marathon, public awakening is being done from Ambedkar Hostel to Dalit settlements and they have been invited to join this marathon.
In fact, the BJP organization has been adopting new ways to connect Dalits and OBCs with the party since lagging behind in UP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The party had earlier formed a social media army to the youth of the Dalit and the Backward fraternity. So that a political fight can be made in the name of Dalit OBC. This marathon is also being seen in this sequence. In the name of Ambedkar, the BJP is making every effort to counter the pranks to remove the Dalits. BJP and OBCs coming to this marathon are engaged in the mission to connect youth through sports and events.
