ipl 2025 auction all 10 teams purse remaining and slots available after day 1

Jeddah (Saudi Arabia): The first day of the Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction in Saudi Arabia is over. The most expensive player in this year’s auction was Rishabh Pant, on whom Lucknow Super Kings spent Rs 27 crore. This deal also made him the most expensive player in IPL history. Apart from them, bids of more than Rs 20 crore were also placed on Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer. Today is the second day of the auction.

How much money is left with which team?

A total of 577 players are named in the IPL auction. Currently only 84 names have come on the auction table. The names of many great players of world cricket are yet to be revealed. However, the franchisee no longer has that much money left. On the second day, Royal Challengers Bangalore has the maximum of Rs 30.65 crore left and will come away with the biggest amount. After that there is Mumbai Indians (Rs 26.10 crore) and Punjab Kings (Rs 22.50 crore).

How many more players does which team need?

There can be a maximum of 25 players in a team in IPL. The number of foreign players in this can be up to 8. After the first day of auction, Gujarat Titans bought the maximum number of 14 players. They now need 11 more players. There can be 5 foreign players in this. Whereas Mumbai Indians and RCB need 16-16 players.
