There is a tussle going on in Bihar regarding irregularities and irregularities in the BPSC 70th preliminary examination. Thousands of students are demanding cancellation of the exam and re-conducting it. Meanwhile, the date of preliminary exam result and update of main exam has come out. It is being told that Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) can declare the result of 70th Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination (BPSC 70th PT Exam) in the last week of January.

Actually, BPSC 70th PT exam was conducted on 13th December at various examination centers in Bihar. Since the day of the exam, candidates have been alleging irregularities in the exam and demanding its cancellation and re-conduct. The candidates alleged that the students got the paper late at Bapu Exam Center in Patna and the seal of the paper was already open. On the day of the examination, angry candidates went to another exam room and threw away the sheets and papers of the candidates, which has also been confirmed in the CCTV cameras installed in the exam room.

After this, the Commission (BPSC) after investigation, canceled the examination of only Bapu Exam Center and conducted it again on January 4. Re-exam was conducted for about 12 thousand candidates at 22 exam centres. Now the Commission is preparing to declare the result of preliminary examination soon.

BPSC 70th Prelims Exam Date: Know when the result can come

According to information received from sources, BPSC can declare the result of preliminary examination between 25th to 30th January. However, the Commission has not yet issued any official notice regarding this on its official website, which can be issued at any time. Students are advised to keep an eye on the website for latest information.

BPSC 70th Main Exam Date: Main exam will be held in April

About 4 lakh candidates had appeared in the preliminary examination, out of which many candidates are waiting for their results. According to the information received from sources, BPSC 70th main examination will be held in April. However, thousands of candidates are still adamant on the demand of cancellation of the examination and are sitting on strike at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The candidates are also getting the support of the Leader of Opposition. Left parties across the state have announced statewide demonstrations on January 6. Apart from this, Indian Youth Congress workers took out a torch procession and registered their protest in support of the students.

Prashant Kishore on hunger strike

Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishore is standing in support of the candidates who are continuously protesting. He had sought permission from the administration to hold ‘Student Parliament’ under the Gandhi statue at Gandhi Maidan. Even after not getting permission, they are standing near the Gandhi statue along with hundreds of candidates and are on hunger strike until the demands of the students are met.

Action may be taken against Prashant Kishor soon

Patna DM Chandrashekhar has sent a notice to Prashant Kishore. He says that he cannot hold a protest where he is protesting (near the Gandhi statue). Protesting near Gandhi statue is prohibited. He said, ‘We had given notice but no response has been received. At present our priority is today’s exam (the exam held at Bapu Exam Center on 13th December has been canceled and is being conducted today). First this examination is completed and then we will think about further action. Because no one can sit and stage a dharna in a public place.
