BPSC Exam: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) may soon take a big decision regarding the uproar during the BPSC 70th Combined Competitive Examination. The Commission had sought a report from the DM of Patna regarding the uproar at Bapu Dham Exam Center in Patna on 13 December. DM Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has submitted the report to the Commission. BPSC has issued a notice and informed that after the report received, the Commission will hold a meeting on Monday and take the necessary decision.

200-300 candidates accused of disrupting the examination

12000 candidates appeared in the Bapu examination complex in Patna, but during this time around 200 to 300 candidates created a ruckus. These candidates alleged that there were irregularities during the examination, the seal of the question paper packet was broken. Besides, question papers were also received late. The allegations of these candidates were rejected by BPSC Chairman Ravi Manu Bhai Parmar on the same day.

Unruly students identified through CCTV footage

The Commission had clarified that there was no irregularity in the examination and the Commission cannot play with the future of lakhs of students for the sake of a few hundred students. The Commission had sought a report from Patna DM regarding the uproar. Patna DM had constituted a committee in this matter under the chairmanship of Senior Collector. This committee has given its investigation report, the unruly students have also been identified on the basis of CCTV footage. Now the Commission will hold a meeting tomorrow regarding the uproar in the Bapu examination complex and take further decisions.

BPSC will take important decision on Monday

In the notice issued by the Commission on 15 December 2024, it has been said that the 70th Integrated Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination was conducted on 13 December 2024 at Bapu Examination Campus, Patna, where there was ruckus during the probation period by the eligible candidates and the examination was canceled. Tried to disrupt. Regarding the above incident, a report was sought by the Commission from the District Magistrate, Patna. The DM has submitted the report on December 15, on which an important meeting will be organized in the Commission office on December 16, 2024 (Monday) to take a decision.

Candidates snatched answer sheets and threw them.

Question papers were provided to some students late at the examination center due to which they were also assured of extra time. Despite this, those students went to another room, went to the seats of other candidates taking the exam, snatched their answer sheets and threw them away and started a ruckus. This entire incident was recorded in CCTV cameras for monitoring in the exam room.

FIR registered against unknown people who created ruckus at the exam center

Patna Police issued an official statement informing about registration of FIR against unknown people under different sections. Police said in their statement that after the commencement of the examination at Bapu Examination Complex at around 1:30 pm, around 50-60 unknown people created a ruckus on the main road outside the main gate. Due to the uproar, traffic on the main road was disrupted. Due to the uproar, an ambulance, a bus of school children and a large number of passengers had to face traffic jam. Due to the uproar and noise, the examination going on in the examination premises started getting disrupted. Investigation will be done after FIR is registered against those who created ruckus.
