Lately, quite a few Bollywood actors have been teaming up with south filmmakers to star in south Indian language films. The latest one to do that is superstar Aamir Khan. He has officially joined the cast of the Rajinikanth’s keenly awaited entertainer. CooliesAlthough the Above the ground The actor would be playing a cameo, his teaming up with Rajinikanth is sure to surge excitement among the fans of both the actors.

But that’s not all. Bollywood Hungama has learned that Aamir has already started shooting for his part in the film in Jaipur. We have also come to know that it is action-packed cameo for the Dangal star. Hence, there are chances that his part is expected to have a long impression on the audience. Coolies is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and it also stars Shruti Haasan.

Aamir joining Coolies also means that he will feature on-screen with Rajinikanth after 30 years. The last time the two stars were seen together was in filmmaker Dilip Shankar’s 1995 action entertainer Aatank Hi Aatankwhich also starred Juhi Chawla, Pooja Bedi, Kabir Bedi, Om Puri, Archana Joglekar, among others.

Interestingly, Rajinikanth’s last Tamil film Vettaiyanwhich released earlier this year, had Aamir’s Things Of Hindustan co-star Amitabh Bachchan plays a powerful role. Directed and written by TJ Gnanavel, the film also starred Malayalam superstar and Pushpa franchise actor Fahadh Faasil.
