The makers of the film made an official announcement regarding the delay, citing technical delays in processing the content as the reason for the postponement. A note shared by the production team reads, “Due to technical delays in processing the content, the Reloaded version of Pushpa 2: The Rule is delayed. It will now screen in theaters from 12th January and not from 11th January as planned earlier.”
The note continued with a message of celebration and anticipation for the extended version: “Happy Sankranthi everyone. The extended version will be worth the wait with additional whistleworthy moments. The wildfire gets more fiery.”
