Childhood ties with Ayodhya

Satyendra Das was born in Santakbirnagar, about 100 km from Ayodhya. He used to go to Ayodhya with his father since childhood. His father used to visit Abhiram Das’s ashram in Ayodhya. These were the brothers who claimed the appearance of idols of Rama, Laxman, Bharata, Shatrughan and Sita ji in the sanctum sanctorum on 22-23 December 1949 in Ram Janmabhoomi, which was later formed the basis.

Start teaching children

Satyendra Das left his house in 1958 and went to Abhiram Das’s ashram and started his studies there. After this, he started teaching children in Sanskrit. At that time, he used to get only 75 rupees. In the year 1992, when Satyendra Das was appointed to the Ram temple, he used to get 100 rupees every month in salary rupees.

By the year 2018, Satyendra Das’s salary was only 12 thousand rupees a month. In 2019, after the instructions of the Commissioner of Ayodhya, his salary was reduced to 13 thousand. Satyendra Das had told during an interview that he had a Acharya degree from Sanskrit school in 1975. After this, in 1976, he got the job of assistant teacher in grammar department in Sanskrit College, Ayodhya.
