BSP Leader Akash Anand on Arvind Kejriwal – ‘Kejriwal’s promises are like Draupadi’s saree, he throws and we wrap’, Akash Anand targets AAP – BSP Leader Akash Anand Slams Arvind Kejriwal and AAP govt for unfulfilled promises in Delhi ntc
The dates of assembly elections in Delhi may not have been announced yet by the Election Commission, but political parties have started their preparations. Along with this, a barrage of controversial statements has also started. While BJP candidate from Kalkaji Ramesh Bidhuri had started it with objectionable comments on Priyanka Gandhi and Chief Minister Atishi, Bahujan Samaj Party national convenor Akash Anand has taken this trend two steps further.
BSP had organized a workers conference at Ambedkar Park in Kondli assembly constituency on Sunday. While giving a speech in this program, Akash Anand fiercely targeted Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party. He described Congress and BJP as two sides of the same coin. Attacking Arvind Kejriwal’s promises of providing employment, he said, ‘Kejriwal has made this promise not once but many times. He promised in 2014 that he would provide 8 lakh jobs in Delhi. After this, I once again promised in 2022 that I will provide more than 20 lakh government jobs in Delhi. That means Arvind Kejriwal had promised to provide more than 28 lakh jobs in total. But today even after 11 years, Kejriwal’s government has given only 12500 jobs in Delhi.
The BSP leader further said, ‘Brother, if someone asks him to open his box of promises, then he talks so long as if it were Draupadi’s saree. They keep throwing it and we keep wrapping it. Aam Aadmi Party has been in power in Delhi for 11 years. Leave alone turning Delhi into Paris, it could not even fix the potholes on the roads. Akash Anand alleged that Arvind Kejriwal is anti-Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, anti-Constitution and anti-Dalit. The public is only being cheated in the name of education model.
Kejriwal against SC/OBC and reservation: Akash Anand
Criticizing AAP national convenor and former Delhi chief minister Kejriwal, he said, ‘There have been deliberate efforts to prevent the rise of marginalized communities in Delhi. AAP has filed a petition in the court regarding SC/ST reservation classification, which shows that Kejriwal is against SC/OBC and reservation policies.
Akash Anand said, ‘If a child fails in the ninth class in Delhi, he does not get a second chance. The Aam Aadmi Party government never thought about those children. Under compulsion, those children have to do distance learning. When children get good marks through their hard work, the Kejriwal government praises them and pats them on the back. He alleged that BJP is making people incompetent by giving them free ration. Akash Anand said that if the government provides free education to the people, they will automatically become capable of buying ration.
