A day before voting, Bahujan Vikas Aghadi candidate from Dahanu, Suresh Padvi, joined BJP. Padvi joined the party in the presence of Palghar BJP district president Bharat Rajput. Just a few days ago, Padvi had joined Bahujan Vikas Aghadi from BJP and won the candidature.
