A 52-year-old lab technician committed suicide at Dr. Khubchand Baghel PG Government College, located in the old Bhilai police station area of Durg district of Chhattisgarh. The body of the deceased was found hanging in the lab of the college campus. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and started investigating the case.
According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Trimurti Ramtek, who was a former soldier of the Indian Army. He started working in this college as Assistant Lab Technician under Army quota in 2019. On Thursday, his body was found hanging in the body chemistry lab of the college. The college management immediately informed Bhilai-3 police station.

Suicide due to financial crisis and stress
The son of the deceased told the police that Trimurti had a bank loan, due to which he was in financial crisis and stress. In the preliminary investigation, the police have found a suicide note, in which the deceased has mentioned about his debts and financial problems. At the same time, the police has removed the body from the noose and sent it for post-mortem. CSP Harish Patil said that the reasons behind the suicide of the deceased are being investigated. At present, the police have taken possession of the suicide note and have started investigating the case.
