57-year-old Gangapuri Maharaj, who is also known as Chhotu Baba, came from Kamakhya Peeth in Assam in the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Remains the center of attraction among the devotees. Chhota Baba, who is only 3 feet 8 inches tall, has attracted everyone’s attention by claiming that he has not taken bath for 32 years.

Reason for not bathing for 32 years
Gangapuri Maharaj gave a big reason behind his unusual decision. He said that I have not taken a bath for 32 years because I have a wish which has not been fulfilled till now. I will not bathe in the Ganga. However, he expressed happiness on attending the Maha Kumbh Mela and said that I am happy to be here. I am also happy to see that you all are here.
Flood of devotees in Mahakumbh
Maha Kumbh Mela, organized every 12 years, is a major religious event, which this time will continue till 26 February. In this, the main bathing dates have been fixed on 14 January, 29 January and 3 February. In view of the arrival of lakhs of devotees, the administration has made special arrangements for security and order.
