China welcomed the visit of Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt and said positive things about it. China said that this visit is taking place at a time when the top leaders and officials of the two countries have met the top leaders and officials after a bad relationship over military confrontation in Ladakh. In the last October, President Xi Jinping and PM Modi during the BRICS Summit in Kazan had made an important consensus to improve and increase bilateral relations.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning told the media, “We welcome Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri’s visit to China for a meeting of Foreign Secretary-CP minister between China and India.” He also talked about the meeting of PM Modi and Xi Jinping in Kazan. He said that recently both sides have worked to implement these common understanding seriously. Chinese and Indian abroad and defense ministers met each other in several rounds.

Efforts to implement the agreement on the ground
In recent times, it has been seen that both India and China are making all efforts to implement the agreement on peace on the border on the ground. Chinese and Indian foreign ministers also held several levels of talks.
Special representative level was also interacted between the two countries, in which NSA Ajit Doval met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. A lot of positive response was seen for this meeting held at an interval of five years.
Vikram Egypt will visit China on 26-27 January
On the occasion of Republic Day, the visit of Foreign Secretary Egyptian is going on in view of the Spring Festival of China and the beginning of China on 29 January, when the whole country will officially be shutdown for a week. After Ajit Doval’s visit to Beijing, the foreign secretary’s journey will be a second high-level journey.
