Waqf has become the center of personal selfishness: CM Yogi

Responding to a question on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, Yogi Adityanath said that reform is the demand for times. He said, ‘Every good work is opposed. Similarly, there is an uproar on the Waqf Amendment Bill. Those who are creating a ruckus on this issue, I want to ask them … Has the Waqf Board done any welfare? Leave everything, has Waqf done any welfare of Muslims too? Waqf has become the center of personal selfishness. It has become a medium for forcibly occupying any government property and reform is the demand for times. Every reform is opposed. According to the country, time and situation, we should be ready for such reforms. I think the Muslim society will benefit the most from amending the Waqf law.
