What’s in the new report by Canadian media?

A report published in a Canadian newspaper, citing an unnamed Canadian national security official, claimed that the alleged assassination plot was hatched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and linked to PM Modi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. However, the report also says that Canada has no evidence to support this claim against PM Modi.

The official said, “Canada has no direct evidence that PM Modi had knowledge of this. It would be unimaginable that three senior political figures in India would not have discussed the targeted killings with PM Modi before moving forward.” .”
