Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, taking cognizance of the complaint of Congress leader Sandeep Dixit, has directed the Chief Secretary to investigate the allegations related to registration under ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’. This registration campaign is being run by AAP after promising to give Rs 2,100 per month to the women voters of Delhi. The Lieutenant Governor has asked the Delhi Police Commissioner to investigate whether any ‘unauthorized person’ is getting the forms filled for the proposed Rs 2,100 per month for the women of Delhi.
Responding to the Delhi LG ordering an inquiry, former Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘BJP is troubled by Mahila Samman and Sanjeevani schemes because it is losing Delhi elections. Lakhs of people are registering for Mahila Samman Card, Sanjeevani Yojana. Many BJP leaders called me and said – the election is over for us. After this they started creating ruckus at the registration camps. They are sending goons to our camps to stop people from registering for these schemes. They sent Delhi Police to the camps to stop the registration process.

BJP-Congress together want to stop AAP in Delhi
Arvind Kejriwal said- BJP does not have courage, hence it asked Sandeep Dixit of Congress to lodge a complaint. Congress and BJP are working together to stop the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi. But they will not get success. He said, ‘You should get a lot of registration done for Mahila Samman Yojana, Sanjeevani Yojana. After winning the elections, we will implement both these schemes.
He said, ‘What investigation will the BJP people do? What is there to check? These schemes were not implemented, this is an election promise of our party. We have said that we will launch these schemes after the elections. BJP is fighting 2025 elections to stop all the welfare schemes. BJP wants to stop Mahila Samman Yojana. He said that if the people of Delhi vote for BJP, then when the government is formed, they will stop the free electricity, water, buses, education, everything that the people of Delhi were getting.

Why no action against Pravesh Verma who openly distributed money?
He targeted BJP leader Pravesh Verma. Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘He is openly distributing money, buying votes. Why is there no investigation against them, why is no action taken against them? We have not seen such a Kaliyuga when money is being distributed openly and no action is being taken. I want to say to the voters of Delhi – Do you trust Kejriwal, right? I had promised to provide free electricity and free water. He said that this is not possible. BJP tried a lot to stop these plans, but I kept my promise.
