After the violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal, BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari had moved the Calcutta High Court seeking the deployment of central forces. Although the state government objected to this and said that it is not required, the High Court has ordered the deployment of central forces in the violence affected areas. According to the information, the DGP of Bengal will reach Murshidabad in two hours.
