US President Donald Trump has taken a tough stand on illegal drugs from Canada and Mexico. He has announced that new taxes will be implemented on these two countries from March 4. Trump wants to stop drugs such as Phantanail in the US in the US, according to the manufacturing allegations, China does, on which Trump has threatened to impose an additional 10 per cent tariffs.

President Trump stopped the tax imposed on Canada-Maxico for 30 days on February 4. He claimed that the two countries had made new promises to improve border security. Trump has warned that if the supply of drugs does not stop, then tax will be imposed. Apart from these, an order has been issued to impose an additional tariff of March 4 to 10 percent on China.

Canada promises to stop drug supply

This move of Trump is part of his confidence plans in which he is giving priority to the safety of American citizens. He expressed his satisfaction after a conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and said that Canada has promised to take strict steps against Fantanyel.

Canada has committed to appoint an officer for control of Phantanail supply, listing in the category of terrorist, 24/7 border monitoring, and forming joint force against organized crime.

China accused of supply of fentinel drugs

Trump claimed in a post on Truth Social, “Mexico and Canada are still getting very high and unacceptable drugs in our country. A large percentage of these drugs, most of which are in the form of fentinyls, are manufactured in China and supplied by China. These dangerous and addicts caused more than 100,000 people last year.

China will be imposed an additional 10 percent alternative tariff!

Trump said, “China will also be imposed an additional 10% tariff on that date on March 4.” Earlier in the first week of February, Trump announced 25 percent tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico and additional 10 percent tariff on goods coming from China.
