While Chunky was on his way to success in the early 90s, the actor saw a slew of actors, now superstars, making their debut. One such record-breaking debut was of superstar Aamir Khan who garnered overnight fame with his debut film From Qayamat to Qayamat TakSharing one such entertaining story, Chunky revealed an interesting incident from his younger days.

Chunky Panday opened up about giving someone Aamir’s number instead of his own
Reminiscing those days, Chunky Panday opened up about how Aamir Khan entered the world of Bollywood after him. While the actor garnered success as a quintessential hero, he soon saw Aamir Khan become the lovable ‘boy-next-door’ with From Qayamat to Qayamat Tak“After me immediately Aamir Khan came there. Aur main bahut tension mein aa gaya (Aamir had come after me and I was quite tense),” he confessed.
He shared a particular incident from a party he had attended and said, “I remember I had gone to a party. Everybody was Aamir Khan in the car. Then someone asked me for my number. I remembered his number. So I told him.” Gave Aamir Khan’s number so that he could call him and ask Chunky (I remember, I was at a party and everyone out there were talking about Aamir Khan. But then, someone asked I remembered Aamir’s number and gave them his phone number. I wanted them to call Aamir and ask for Chunky Panday). He continued, “But it was all sweet in those days and Aamir Khan is a great actor after all”.
Chunky Panday revealed he was ‘insecure’ when many actors entered the industry
Recalling how Aamir Khan came in and then, Salman Khan followed, Chunky confessed that he did feel insecure about these actors. “There was insecurity, there was fear but these make things you more mature,” he expressed.
