The new year 2025 will see the release of two big scale comedies in the form of Housefull 5 and Welcome To The JungleDirected by Tarun Mansukhani, the first one is the fifth film in the Houseful franchise. The other one, directed by Ahmed Khan, is the third one in the welcome series.

Interestingly, both Housefull 5 and Welcome To The Jungle are madcap comedies and both see Akshay Kumar play the main lead. On top of that, it has a long list of ensemble cast. Actors like Sanjay Dutt, Bobby Deol, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, and Jacqueline Fernandez are a part of both the films.
During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama about his dubbing stint in Pushpa 2: The RuleShreyas Talpade, who is a part of both the films, was told about these common factors in the two films. He said, “To begin with, the stories of both the films are different. The cast is different. Some of us, of course, are common factors in it. But the stories are essentially very very different. The look and feel are completely different.”
He added, “But both are entertainers to the core, and they are family entertainers. I am very lucky to be a part of both and I am looking forward to releasing them next year. I hope people enjoy it, like they have given love to other comedies, especially these franchises earlier.”
Housefull 5 will be releasing on June 6 while Welcome To The Jungle will reportedly release during Christmas.
