Director Vikramaditya shared an instance when things fell into place effortlessly: “I asked Rajkummar (Rao) whether he is free in October, and he said, ‘I’m ready for the film,’” he recalled. Yet, Vikramaditya also noted, “It is not always to get who you want,” acknowledging that even established filmmakers face obstacles in casting the ideal actor.

Similarly, director Tushar Hiranandani revealed that Rajkumar was his top pick for a role in Srikanth“Rajkumar was my first choice for Srikanthand he never refused,” Tushar said. However, Sidharth P Malhotra’s experience points to the uncertainties of casting in the film industry. He said, “In hiccupsI went from the biggest star to the lowest star.” Filmmaker Tushar also brought attention to a significant challenge: “Stars reject after six months of shooting to sign a better film.” This highlights a tough reality in the industry, where even after a long commitment, stars may back out if a more high-profile opportunity arises.
