A couple committed suicide by hanging themselves from a fan in a hotel located in Mauranipur, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. This created a stir there. The police reached the spot and immediately brought down both the bodies. After this, after getting the identification done, the Panchnama was filled and sent for post-mortem.
The matter pertains to a hotel named Kamta Palace located in Gandhiganj under Mauranipur police station of Jhansi district. A couple of about 20 years old was staying in a room here. Late in the evening the police received information that both were hanging in the hotel room. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and brought down both the bodies. After this, they were captured and identified. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Rahul, son of Dayaram, resident of Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh and the deceased has been identified as Manisha Ahirwar, son of Ramesh Ahirwar, resident of Syavani Mauranipur.
There was a love affair between the two. Despite knowing about this, the girl’s family was preparing to get her married somewhere else. It is feared that fed up with this, both of them committed suicide by hanging themselves. At present, after identification, the police have informed the family members and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
Superintendent of Police Rural Gopinath Soni said that the police had received information that a boy and a girl were hanging from the fan in room number 206 of Kamta Guest House. Police arrived on this information and informed the couple’s family. The girl’s family and other people gathered at the spot. Police station and police area officer Garautha were also on the spot. Somehow the room was opened in their presence and it was found that the room was locked from inside, and both of them were hanging on the fan by the edge of the blanket. Both the bodies have been taken into custody and Panchnama has been filled and sent for post-mortem.
