According to the information received, the marriage of Aarti, daughter of farmer Sukhlal, resident of Mohanlalganj, was fixed with Kamlesh, resident of Unnao district. After the arrival of the wedding procession, everyone was waiting for Jaimal. Meanwhile, some of the wedding guests present in Janavase (where the wedding procession is held) got drunk. He made wrong comments on the housewives regarding breakfast. Due to which an altercation took place.
However, seeing the matter escalating, the elderly people somehow pacified both the parties. The program went ahead. But when Jaimala started, a dispute started again between the two sides as soon as they reached the stage. Within some time this dispute turned into a fight. There was a fight on the stage itself.
When some people from the girl’s side saw that the groomsmen were fighting fiercely, they also jumped into the ruckus. Within a short time, Jaimal’s stage became a battlefield. Meanwhile, the angry groom broke the garland and threw it away. He also jumped from the stage and started fighting. During this the bride fell from the stage.
Along with the men, women also joined the fight below the stage. The women started pulling each other’s hair and fighting. Chairs started being thrown at the function. It is alleged that efforts were made to understand both the parties but neither party was ready to bow down. Meanwhile, the glass of the groom’s elder brother’s car was also broken.
It is being claimed that the wedding guests were under the influence of alcohol, which led to the fight. People from both sides were involved in the fight. According to the girl’s side, after the marriage was fixed, the groom had demanded a car. If this demand could not be fulfilled, it was decided to give a bike worth Rs 2 lakh. They were giving goods from fridge to TV. But after the uproar, everything fell apart.
In this matter, DCP South Zone Keshav Kumar said that the incident is being investigated. Both the parties have been called face to face. But they are not ready to compromise. At present, action will be taken according to whoever gives the complaint.
