A shocking case has come to light from Ambedkaranagar district of Uttar Pradesh, where a woman from Tanda town has made a complaint in the police by making serious allegations against her husband, brother -in -law and other in -laws. The woman alleges that she was persistent physical and mental torture for dowry. At the same time, it has also been said that Jeth was tampered with and being beaten up and expelled from the house. Seeing the matter being serious, the police have registered a case on the orders of the SP and started investigation.
Married in 2011, stress in in -laws from the beginning
According to the victim, she was married to a young man named Kamal Ahmed in 2011. Shortly after marriage, father -in -law Juned Alam, mother -in -law Asma Khatoon, Jeth Belal Ahmed, Jethani Afreen Bano and Nand Sajia started pressurizing him to bring dowry two lakh rupees. On not getting the money, he was tortured physically and mentally.
The woman said that her father gave a lot of difficulty in the in -laws by making arrangements for one lakh rupees, but the harassment did not stop.
Jeth accused of molestation, husband got married second
The victim also alleged that her brother -in -law Belal Ahmed had molested her several times. When he opposed this action, the in -laws beat him badly and expelled him from the house. After this, her husband Kamal Ahmed gave her three divorces and in 2019, a woman named Firdaus got a second marriage. The woman claims that after the second marriage, the husband started threatening to kill her. Not only this, the in -laws’ side snatched both his children from him and kept the right to protect them.
Deadly attack on the way while returning from the police station
On 19 February 2025, when the woman was returning after registering a complaint at the Aliganj police station, four unidentified people attacked her on the way. The attackers escaped from the spot after making noise. After this incident, the victim met the SP and complained about the whole matter.
On the orders of the SP, a case has been registered in several sections including dowry harassment, tampering, assault, threats threatening in the women’s police station. Station in -charge Shivangi Tripathi said that the matter is very sensitive and the police is investigating seriously. Appropriate action will be taken after investigation.
