New Delhi: When the first retention list of the Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction came, Mumbai Indians released one of their players who was with the team for the last 7 years. This is none other than wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan. Ishan Kishan’s seven years with Mumbai Indians have come to an end. Ishan Kishan will now play for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025. When Mumbai did not retain Ishan Kishan, it seemed that the franchise would buy him in the mega auction.
It often happens that if the franchise is unable to retain its old player, then it goes to the auction for him, but the Mumbai camp had already made plans regarding Ishan Kishan. Team captain Hardik Pandya has now broken his silence regarding this and told why Mumbai Indians did not buy Ishan Kishan in the auction.
