Gate 2025 result date: Gate 2025 is good news for the candidates waiting for the result to be released. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee is going to release a scorecard of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 soon. Once the result is released, students will be able to check and download their scorecard by visiting the official website of IIT Gate Gate2025.Iitr.ac.in.
GATE Result 2025 Date: When can Gate Results be released?
IIT Roorkee can release the GATE result on 19 March 2025. However, the candidates will be able to download their GATE scorecard on the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in from 28 March 2025. To see their scorecard, candidates have to enter their enrollment number and password. The GATE scorecard will include candidates’ marks, All India Rank (AIR), GATE qualification points and other details.
What after the gate result is released?
Postgraduate admission: Candidates can take admission in Master of Technology (M.Tech) programs in prestigious institutions like IIT and NIT. The score in the centralized counseling process is an important criteria.
Public Sector Undertakings (PSU): Many PSUs consider the GATE score for recruitment to technical and managerial positions, giving it a chance to career in iconic public sector.
Gate Scorecard Validity: Know how long the gate scorecard will remain
According to media reports, candidates will be able to download the scorecard from March 28, 2025 to 31 May. After that, they can download the GATE scorecard by paying Rs 500 per paper by 31 December, 2025. The validity of the GATE scorecard is the result of three years i.e. 19 March 2028. However, it should be noted that legitimacy vary according to discipline, available vacancies and category of candidates. A legitimate GATE score gives a chance to take advantage of many opportunities.
Let us know that the GATE 2025 exam was held on two shifts on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. The first shift paper will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the second shift paper was held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
