The Ghazipur police has released a list of 29 prize criminals of the district, in which the name of Mukhtar Ansari’s wife Afsha Ansari is on top. Afsha Ansari has been absconding for the past several years. Police of Ghazipur and Mau districts have declared him a fugitive. The police of both the districts have also declared a reward of 50-50 thousand rupees on Afsha’s head. The Ghazipur police has started a 15-day special campaign against these miscreants who challenged law and order.

Under this campaign, the police of the district is monitoring the activities of every prize criminal and taking a rampage action to find out their bases. The police have deployed Swat and surveillance teams in special movements, who are looking for these miscreants day and night. Along with this, informers have been activated and cooperation has also been sought from the common people. The police have assured that the names and identity of those who give information about these criminals will be kept completely confidential and the amount of reward will be given to them.

The list of criminals released by Ghazipur police, Sonu Mushar, Bablu Patwa, Chhoti Lal, Vibhash Pandey, Virendra Dubey, Vishal Pasi, Bittu Kinnar, Gopal, Ankur Yadav, Vinod Yadav, Ramchandra Kumar, Ashok Yadav, Shahabuddin, Mohammad Imran, Shahzad Khan, Mohammad Saddam, Gaus Mohammad Mohammad Mohammad, Lakhinder, Pappu, Chhotu Gond, Ashok Kumar, Shammi, Azad Qureshi have a reward of Rs 25-25 thousand on the head, while Afsha Ansari, Ankit Rai, Prahlad Gond and Karmesh Gond have a reward of Rs 50,000 thousand on their heads.

Senior police officers themselves are monitoring this campaign. Please tell that Afsha did not even be revealed at the time of the death of her husband Mukhtar Ansari. Mukhtar Ansari, who was a five -time MLA from Mafia Don and Mau seat, suffered a heart attack on March 28, 2024 while being lodged in Banda Jail. He was taken to Rani Durgavati Medical College of Banda for treatment, where doctors declared Mukhtar dead. Abbas Ansari, the elder son of Afsha and Mukhtar, is currently an MLA from Mau seat.

Ghazipur City SP Gyanendra said, ‘A list of a total of 29 serious criminals of Ghazipur district has been released. These include accused of murder, robbery and gangster Act.
