According to the information, the accident happened due to Google Map on the newly constructed highway in Hathras Junction area of the police station. While going from Mathura to Bareilly, Google Map had shown a clear route on this highway to a car driver. A car rider who was driving after seeing the route on Google Map became a victim of an accident. This car collided with an earthen mound on a closed highway, due to which the car was damaged and the car rider was injured.

There is no sign of diversion on this highway and there is no warning of road block. Due to the absence of any information board, vehicles are meeting with accidents here. Moving car fell into canal in Bareilly

After receiving the information, police reached the spot and rescued two people. One person had already come out. He informed the police. It is fortunate that no one died in this accident. However, the car occupants suffered a lot of injuries.
The car had fallen from the bridge
It is known that on November 24, due to wrong route being shown on Google Map, a tragic accident took place on the incomplete bridge on Bareilly-Badaun road. The moving car had fallen off the bridge, killing three people in it. PWD’s negligence also came to light in this incident. Police has also issued a notice to the regional manager of Google Map.
