Hamas has confirmed the death of his military commander Mohammad Def. In August last year, Israel claimed that it had killed Mohammad Def, but Hamas had not confirmed it yet. Hamas has also announced the death of Deputy Military Commander Marwan Issa. US has announced the death of Isa in March last year.
The Israeli army posted on X about Daf’s death in August, “IDF announces that on July 13, 2024 IDF fighter jets attacked in the area of Khan Younis and after intelligence assessment it can be confirmed that attacks Mohammad Def was killed in. ” The Israeli Defense Force also posted a social media related to it.

Who was Hamas
Mohammad Def is also described as a planner of the October 7 attacks, who joined Hamas in puberty. In 2002, he became the leader of Hamas’s military wing, Cassam Brigade and replaced its founder, who died in an Israeli attack. Def has since planned several attacks on Israel, including the suicide bomb blasts in 1996.

According to Israeli intelligence information, it was at the top of the list of Israeli most wanted terrorists for decades. Earlier, he was assaulted eight times. In 2014, one of his wife and his newborn son died in the Israeli air strike.
