14 crores of Kavya Maran drowned…

Runs are not coming from Abhishek’s bat
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s opening batsman Abhishek Sharma continues to perform poorly. He was dismissed early in the match against Gujarat Titans. Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost both their opening batsmen in Powerplay. Abhishek scored 18 runs in 16 balls. Gujarat fast bowler Mohammad Siraj dismissed him in the fifth over. Abhishek tried to play an elevated shot on a length delivery, but the ball hit the edge of the bat.
The season is not special
Abhishek Sharma has not been able to do anything special with the bat so far this season. The 24 -year -old player has scored just 51 runs in five innings, his average of 10.20. Last year, he scored 484 runs in 16 matches at an average of 32.26 and a great strike rate of 204.21.
The franchise retained him for Rs 14 crore before the IPL 2025 auction. The Sunrisers team will want Abhishek to return to the form soon so that they can climb the points table. He is currently at the bottom, winning just one of his first four matches.
Knee in front of Siraj
The Gujarat Titans got a great start thanks to Mohammad Siraj’s bowling. The fast bowler took a significant wicket of dangerous Travis Head (8 runs in 5 balls) in the very first over of the match. The Australian batsman was caught by Sai Sudarshan on mid-wicket. Siraj then sent Abhishek Sharma back and brought his team to a strong position. The situation for Sunrisers deteriorated when Ishaan Kishan (17 runs in 14 balls) also dismissed in the eighth over.
